A Sudden Kindness

The last evening I was in north Sardinia, on my way up to Rebeccu, I stopped my car to photograph this landscape.
It’s quite simple, and probably doesn’t say much to anyone who hasn’t been there. But to me, it’s a scene that somehow expresses the feeling of the whole time I spent there. A certain quietness and beauty that felt very natural, yet very strong at the same time.

I was on my way to photograph for Rebeccu Arte a remarkable show: a wonderful piece written by a certain Shakespeare :) and adapted and performed as a monologue by the wonderful Michele Sinisi: Hamlet

And then, on the way up, the landscape suddenly offered this. The old familiar rocks, and the moon slowly appearing above the trees.
