Bojanas
Last night brought the second full moon since I arrived in Sardinia.
The first one caught me still lost in Asian jet lag. It passed almost without me being able to really take it in. Yesterday was different. I was more ready to stay awake. And, above all, I had the right place around me: the plain of Bojanas, open and quiet enough to amplify the wonder of the full moon.
Some nights do not need much. A little wind, light falling on things, darkness that does not erase but lets you glimpse. Then, suddenly, the landscape seems to shift slightly, as if it had become closer and more distant at the same time.
Bojanas, under that moon, was like that: a quiet presence, almost suspended. Not a place to pass through quickly, but a space where you stop, listen, and let the night come forward.
