CP+2025
On Travel, Landscape, and the Art of Adapting
This year, I had the pleasure of speaking at CP+2025, one of Japan’s - and world’s- leading photography events. The theme of my seminar was "Travel and Landscape Photography – Expressive Power through Filters and On-Location Flexibility." You can now watch the full video online:
In the talk, I reflected on how my approach to photography has evolved, especially when preparing for exhibitions or writing articles. These two paths—gallery walls and printed pages—ask for different rhythms and different kinds of presence. One demands silence, the other a voice.
I also shared my experience using H&Y’s magnetic filter system, particularly their CPL and ND filters. Quick to mount, solid in build, and essential when the light moves faster than you do. In the field, being able to react in seconds makes the difference between missing the moment—or capturing it just right.
If you're curious about the tools I use and the way I work on location, I hope this video offers some insight.
